1x DOM Tube 2″ (OD.75″—ID.62″) “King Pin Sleeve” Source
1x Bolt 5″ (3/4-10) “Axle” Source
2x Flange Bushing .75″ (OD.625″—ID.50″) Source
1x TRE Mount (.125″ Steel) Source
1x Nut (3/4-10) Source
1x Spindle Bracket Source
1x Bolt “King Pin” 3.5″ (1/2-20) Source
1x Nut “King Pin Nut” (1/2-20) Source
Instructions
- Mark and cut your DOM tube to 2.125″ long
- Using a dremel or .625″ flapwheel, clean the inside of the DOM tubing .75″ deep on each end.
- Using a vice or mallet, press the bushing into either end of the tube.
- Take your 3/4 “Axle” bolt and cut at 10degree angle. (This can be done using a wooden jig or on a chop saw that allows for angled cuts.)
- Cut out TRE mount out of sheet steel or do nothing if pre-purchased.
- Weld “Axle” bolt to the center of your DOM tubing.
- Weld the TRE mount to the top or bottom of the bolt 90degrees offset
- Place welded assembly inside of Spindle Bracket
- Insert 1/2-20 bolt and tighten the nut down, enough that it seats but does not crush the Spindle Bracket.
